Paul Sullivan is a marketing and business development professional with nearly a decade of experience. He has owned or managed several businesses including a publishing house, field marketing agency, a marketing agency and for the past four years his full-service marketing agency Modedaweb.

Modedaweb is a Hubspot Agency partner and website development company specialising in providing both traditional and growth-driven design services with a focus on conversion rate optimisation. He is currently rebranding that to Paul Sullivan Marketing.

 

Paul is a leader in content personalisation strategy, social outreach and conversion rate optimisation in B2B webdesign. He specialises in working with Finance and Technology businesses and has produced award-winning results with Construction & Property and Professional Services companies. Known for his straight-talking, no-nonsense approach to business, and recently seen on BBC 1 The Apprentice 2016, he is a specialist in marketing strategy. Paul has launched his eponymous consultative agency and training brand focused on businesses who are 1-5 years into trading and are now looking for further growth.

 

Over the past seven years with the rise of Fintech, Paul has seen many start-ups come and go. Some well-funded, some bootstrapped but many concentrated on the product and not the end user. It’s this lack of long-term vision that has led Paul to become focused on Inbound Marketing and Sales Enablement within companies, using growth hacking to implement long-term strategic growth plans.

 

From his experience in marketing and from his former background in Financial Services, Paul is an expert in working with business in all fields related to Finance and Financial Technology, Construction & Property and Professional Services.

With a keen eye for strategy around marketing funnels covering content, re-marketing, social media and conversion, he is adept at helping businesses achieve significant results when they employ him.

  

Prior to his move into marketing, Paul worked with some of the biggest names in banking including Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse and UBS amongst others. He is a regular Fintech panellist with BrightTalk, keynote speaker on Inbound Marketing and volunteer mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs. Paul also teaches inbound marketing within the business and entrepreneurial curriculum at Barking & Dagenham College in East London. He is a charitable trustee and a social media council member at the Direct Marketing Association.
